Yesterday was the first day of the year and already I have done 2 LO's, not sure how I managed my time to accomplish this and house work, but I did. Really wish I had stuck to the original plan of doing my screen2scrap challenge layout, but never mind still have to the end of the month for that one. Here is my first LO's for 2010 ...

Not my best effort, but definitely enjoyed his one ! I used Kaisercraft papers, and few of their rub-ons, but I particularly liked the Beary Patch Christmas rub ons, they go on with no effort at all ! This was the first time I used my new glimmer mist (Pearl) on a chipboard, first I inked it with Black stazon, Sprayed Glimmer mist, then KindyGlitzed the smaller words and I really didn't like the effect for this LO. So, I then rubbed a bit of gold over the black. All in all, a bit of a mess, but you live and learn !!

I am still learning how to distress paper and I'm looking forward to getting my page distressing tool, once my Favouite Scrap shop opens again. I just used plain computer paper for this one, I used gold on that too, and I liked the effect.
