Challenge Heaven

Well, I've been off my blog for a month now ... have moved house and celebrated Christmas and we all know how time consuming that all is.
I have 2 pages to share for the Challenge Heaven December/January Challenges, which I actually finished before I packed, but then my laptop died and I'm just catching up with loading them : )

The first one is a Themed Challenge, the theme is 'Grandparents' and I have scrapped my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary.
The criteria is to use Kraft cardstock as the base, and believe it or not it's under all the glimmermist and stamping. I used SWAK glimmermist and Worn Lipstick all over this layout !
I have also used my fav new toy, the Tim Holtz tattered flowers die on music paper, LOVE IT !!

The 2nd page is for the Number Challenge, and I have scrapped my son Brayden, when he was much younger 'Santa Baby'. I have full filled the long list of criteria, here goes : 1 card stock (I used raspberry), 2 word title (santa baby), 3 flowers (poinsettias) and 4 PP's ( I have used G45 xmas past, 2 x MME holly jolly and Kaiser
tis the season). An added criteria was to use staples and they are there, at the corners of the newspaper type PP and at the ends of the tickets at the bottom.
Thanks for looking, and remember to check out Challenge Heaven, as they have extended the Dec challenges to the end of Jan 2011.

Happy New Year Blogger friends xx Michelle

1 already

Here is another LO, that I have done for Challenge Heaven, it is a number challenge and I was required to have a number as or in the title and to use multiple photos (hope 2 counts as multiple).
I have used the very bright and colorful My Little Shoebox, Flying High and All a Flutter Papers. The photo's are of my gorgeous niece Ruby !
Actually did this page yesterday and had trouble loading it, no matter what I tried it kept loading the pic sideways, I finally fixed the problem and then realised there was a spelling mistake in the title, luckily the thickers I used peel of easy, but I did actually want a ? at the end and it kind of doesn't fit now. Anyway this will do ...

Sketch Challenge - Moana

I have completed another challenge, boy am I on a roll. Amazing what a bit of scrapping can do, to get the creative processes going again : )
The sketch is for Challenge Heaven and I'm rather happy with the outcome ! This is the new Kaisercraft, Seaside Range. I have also hand sewn the border, a first for me, and definitely worth the effort, I have also used rustic core'dinations and a bit of vintage photo and spiced marmalade.
Photo's are of my youngest two, enjoying a bit of playtime down at Moana Beach last sunday : )

Family & Friends

I have been a busy bee ... here are 2 of my submissions for the scrap of difference cypercrop challenge, which the theme is 'Friends & Family' and also flowers. My first is the sketch challenge and I have used My Mind's Eye - Bloom and Grow PP's and embellishments. I have scrapped my nephew Taj.

The second challenge I have completed is the technique challenge, which was a great idea for a challenge I think !! Required is 1 altered flower and 1 completely hand made flower. I have used Kaiser Bohemian Threads PP, and also used the PP for all the flowers, 1 was cut out and altered and the other 3 I cut using my slice. This page is of myself and my brother.

Also, on Friday night I went to Abundantias Gold for a Scrap'n'Chat and had a play with the newly released Kaiser Gypsy Sisters, and also the Glimmermist - Frozen Lake, here's my LO !

LaDiDa !!!

Here's a LO I did last night for a Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin 'I love you' Challenge, the criteria this month is to scrap someone you love, use Hearts, Rub-on's & Ribbon. I have used papers and embellishments from the Kaisercraft LaDiDa range to scrap a photo of my brother and I when we were young.

I had some fun playing with some 'Smooch', which I used a pearl white tone over the rub-on, chipboard title & edges of the paper flowers.
